Northwood is a typical "Dye" design, characterized by undulating greens and rolling fairways. The signature hole number 14 is a short par four, with a green well-guarded by water and reachable with your tee shot. It features the famous Dye railroad ties, and a variety of tees, mounds, and bunkers.

Northwood is playable for golfer of all skill levels. The treelines are clean and hazards are well defined.

The championship tees other enough length to challenge the high level player, while the other tee makers offer an enjoyable round for the recreational player.
